The Open Science Meeting (OSM) and associated Young Scientists Meeting (YSM) are the premier scientific events of Past Global Changes (PAGES).

PAGES is a Global Research Project of Future Earth and a scientific partner of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and World Data Service for Paleoclimatology (WDS-Paleo).

The 7th OSM took place from from 21–24 May 2025 in Shanghai, China
The 5th YSM took place from 19-20 May 2025 in Shanghai, China

The 7th OSM and 5th YSM meetings focused on “Earth System Changes from the Past towards the Future”. This conference aimed to promote interdisciplinary scientific exchange and international collaboration, and to strengthen the connections between PAGES communities.
